Seven Can Do's!

Hello Dear Ones,

So many can’t do’s these days I thought it might be helpful to remember a few can do’s.

For your well-being.

And the well-being of the world.

  1. Write a handwritten note to someone you care about. Just a few days ago I received a handwritten letter from my friend Coreen expressing how much she appreciates our friendship. I was sitting on the stairs with joyful tears streaming.

  2. Eat your fruits and veggies. Be proactive about your health. Boost your vitamin and mineral intake. Seasonal is best! Apples, Pears, Parsnips, Winter Squashes. Onions, garlic, ginger and berries. Nutrient dense foods. We are what we eat. 6-9 servings a day!! You can do it!

  3. Get outside for a minimum of 10 minutes a day. Preferably in the morning. Whether it is sunny or not, the sun is there. Vitamin D and moving your body. Close your eyes in the early morning and let the light come through your eyelids. Nature is life. Without it we can’t live. Thank it every day for giving you what you need to survive.

  4. Call, zoom, walk, or facetime with someone every day. Don’t go a day without contact. We are wired for touch. Of all kinds!!

  5. Focus on settling your nervous system. Turn off technology. Limit your news intake and social media for a day or a whole week. Turn on this playlist. Lie on the floor or bed for at least 10 minutes and breath and listen.

  6. Laugh for no reason at all. Honest. You can do this. Laugh with a buddy on a walk, or a friend on zoom. Laughter releases feel good hormones, activates our rest and relax response and is truly some of the best free medicine. If you need help watch THIS.

  7. Imagine. Imagine a world that works for all. My guess is that is not what’s happening right now for most people. Most people are imagining sickness and death, or being responsible for someone else’s. Any time we are projecting what is going to happen in the future, in truth, we are imagining. So check yours. And reframe to imagining possibilities that are regenerative, healing and supportive for all living beings.

We can all do this!

That’s it.

We’ve got this!

Together.

Hugs,

Carol
